Your first waves made easy, fun, and safe.

New to surfing? We’ve got you. Ucup will teach you everything from paddling and pop-ups to ocean awareness and wave timing. You’ll get clear, patient instruction and plenty of practice in mellow, beginner-friendly waves.

You’ll learn:
✔️ How to pop up and ride a wave
✔️ Paddling technique and wave safety
✔️ How to read the ocean and position yourself
✔️ Local surf etiquette and how to respect the lineup
✔️ Most importantly: how to have fun and stay stoked

• Private or small-group instruction (max 2–3 surfers)

• In-water coaching (Ucup’s with you the whole time)

• Surfboard rental available

• Friendly, local guidance, with no judgment, ever

What's Included

For Intermediates

Catch more waves and level up your longboard style.

Already surfing green waves but want to boost your confidence or refine your skills? These sessions focus on positioning, wave selection, and longboard techniques like trimming, cross-stepping, and noseriding. We’ll tailor each lesson to your goals.

You might work on:
✔️ Better wave timing and reading the lineup
✔️ Board control and staying in the pocket
✔️ Cross-stepping and noseride practice
✔️ Tides, takeoff zones, and surfing with more flow

We spent endless hours in the water with Ucup while in Bali for a few months before being invited back to the beautiful Batukaras where he continued teaching us.
